"Fishing in Ontario . . .
. . . at Foggy Mountain Camps"
The fishing is awesome, the
wilderness is beautiful, and wildlife is abundant, are frequently heard descriptions
of the McKay Lake area of northwestern Ontario. Foggy Mountain Camps
are the only camps on the chain of lakes in the McKay Lake region
which encompass hundreds of miles of shoreline.
From our docks at Foggy Mountain Camps you can reach six lakes and three
major rivers that excel in quality fishing for Walleye, Northern
Pike, Lake Trout, Jumbo Perch and Whitefish. Your fishing trip of a lifetime is just a
phone call away!
Boats: You are
welcome to bring your own boat and motor, or you can rent them from
- Thunder Bay Airport. All major
car rentals are available at the airport.
- Most of you will be entering into Canada through New
York entries or Sault Ste. Marie. Take Route 17 to Route 614 which
goes to Manitouwadge. Proceed north to Caramar and Route 625 where
our signs are located. At White River you may want to consider
going to route 11 by the Hornpane Road, Rt. 631 which is a better
road than 614. Folks coming into Thunder Bay or west of Thunder
Bay will head east on 17 to Nipigon. At Nipigon take Route 11
northeast to Foggy Mountain Guide Service east of Longlac.
