Bear Hunting in Maine's Vast Highlands, Moosehead & Katahdin Region - August & September

$1,995.00
(Housekeeping Accommodations)
You will be set up on real active baits and mostly all good close shooting. Our specially processed bait along with our own highly productive scent formula are a couple of reasons why we have such good success with this method of hunting.

Bear Hunting in Maine's West Branch Region - September

$2,295.00
(American Plan)
A six day stay and a five day hunt tailored the same as our regular base camp housekeeping hunts. However, this hunt will also include all home-cooked meals buffet-style said to be the finest in Maine with the coffee pot always on. Non-hunting wife or partner $675.00 (plus Land Access Fee).

Two-Day Bear Hunts

Although there is some demand for short bear hunts, we do not offer it. There are so many adverse factors with a short hunt that you would be doing yourself a grave injustice. For example, what if you get a couple days of bad weather? You're finished! A lot of time, travel, effort and money wasted. Too risky for you.

Deer - October (Bowhunt) $495.00 Non-Guided
(per hunter; Two Hunter Minimum)
Although this is a NON-GUIDED hunt, we know where the deer are working and we will show you a good area. NO stress on these deer as there is little to no hunting pressure on our deer during bow season. Food plots consist of old apple orchards, clover and hay fields along with beechnut ridges and cedar thickets. We do not have many deer but do have some real BIG DEER. Also grouse season is open. Bring a shotgun if you would like to bird hunt. PLUS you can also shoot a BEAR.

Deer - November (Rifle) $495.00 Non-Guided
(per hunter; Two Hunter Minimum)
In this area a guide is not necessary. I will take you around and show you some good deer country at no charge.

Fishing for trout, walleye, and northern pike is outstanding where we will be. Previously, I was not concerned at all about the fishing but only great bear hunting. However, it turned out that there is quality fishing. Spinning gear fishermen and fly fishermen enjoy themselves. There will be some boats and motors available to rent. Trolling and jig fishing is popular.

Licenses will be on hand at the cabins or nearby. A previous or current hunting license from your Home State will be needed in order for you to get your Ontario hunting license. Be certain to bring that license.

Baiting will be done in advance, and we will have some permanent stands set up. Although we will have some portables on hand, I want to urge you to bring your own portable if you have one. As always we will have the height of the stands about 11 to 15 feet. Bowhunters average distance of shooting is 18 yards. Gun hunters can count on 70 yards or less for shooting. No handguns allowed in Canada.

We are booking a limited amount of hunters, and a 50% deposit will be required on this hunt. All funds are to be U.S. and personal checks will be accepted only on deposits. No deposits refunded.

We're going to have a good time on these hunts, and you can bet that we will be into some trophy bear. I hope you get a chance to come up.
